Dear NMDC Supporter

Thank you for your willingness to consider the NMDC for your charitable donations. Giving to a charity is a voluntary and selfless action that we honor and respect. We are acutely aware that there are many urgent needs and many noble causes to support in this world, and we deeply appreciate your interest in our work. We believe that we share a common goal of working for the common good and hope that you will see how NMDC strives to help people in need.

Why support NMDC?

The NMDC’s main mission is nursing, midwifery, and healthcare education, development, research, and advocacy, which, if done well, can have significant impact on the quality of healthcare and on the safety and wellbeing of the people in the Kurdistan Region.

The funding of the NMDC facility by the Latter-day Saint Charities and the Stirling Foundation is a huge step towards achieving our goals; however, we are a non-governmental charity that relies on external funding to function well and to achieve our objectives.

Your support is therefore crucial to our success. Your donation will improve the education and development of nurses and midwives. We are dedicated to leveraging every available resource to attain enduring outcomes.

Where does your contribution go?

Contributions of all levels are very helpful. US dollars go a long way in Kurdistan! Here how your contribution can make an impact:

  • 50 USD Sponsor a Nurse or Midwife in Training

  • 500 USD Monthly Salary for a NICU Trainer

  • 6,000 USD Sponsor a Nurse Trainer for a year

  • 12,500 USD One Month of Operating Costs

  • 150,000 USD Annual Operating Costs
